The Woman in Black
This term Year 9 students have been exploring dramatic tension and the work of Antonin Artaud’s conventions within The Theatre of Cruelty. Some of Year 9 have been offered the opportunity to experience a live theatre production of The Woman in Black adapted by Stephen Mallatratt to support their work. This is an opportunity for students to see a professional and truly unforgettable performance and “One of British theatre’s biggest – and scariest – hits!”. The Woman in Black is a thriller and students will experience the terror along side the character of Mr Kipps. The performance will be on Friday 13th May at London’s Fortune Theatre.
