Apply to join our Sixth Form

We welcome applications from students currently studying at other schools, and around 20% of our cohort each year is made up of students who join Ranelagh in year 12. The application window is October-December for the following September.

Programmes of study are typically made up of three Level 3 courses which can be A Levels or a blended pathway including equivalent qualifications such BTECs. We also offer all students the opportunity to apply to complete an Extended Project Qualification after their first term.

In partnership with the SB group we run a Sports Coaching Pathway which includes study and specialist football training.

Students currently in year 11 at Ranelagh will complete a digital application via MS Forms during the Autumn Term. If you are currently studying elsewhere, please download the relevant form and return to the school. Hard copies can be handed in to reception or posted to the school. Digital copies or scans should be sent to admissions@ranelagh.bonitas.org.uk

Become part of the Sixth Form Community

Joining the Sixth Form means that you become a member of a community of around 200 students and enter a partnership with students in both year groups, staff, parents and carers. This community is one which values warmth, respect, and high expectations.

Sixth Form events typically include the Summer Year 13 Celebration and the Christmas Ball which is organised by the students and is a fun and festive social event; a wonderful expression of friendship and community.
